I was one of the starting seven. It was the semi finals, I jogged onto the field with 2 tags attached to the sides of me and the game started. One of the girls from Edendale ran sideways near the outline, I sped through my team just to rip her tag, my team was standing beside the ref while I was all the way across the field. I reached for her tag and… ¨RIP!¨ I held her tag up like I was the statue of liberty the ref yelled out ¨THAT’S 1!¨ I jogged back to my team and high fived Seini and laughed but that wasn´t the end of the tournament. We all gathered and lifted our hands in the air one on top of another and did our Wesley chant.

Cannon

Everyone gathered outside by the fence rail to watch the cannon fire on the count of  3! “3, 2, 1! “BOOM!” As the cannon exploded a loud BANG noise tingled down my spine and erupted in my ears the sound lifted my soul up into the air and then returned back into my body. Dust particles flew out of the cannon and dived into the sea “drip! Drop! Drippity! Drop!” Also scared as the screams from my classmates tuned into my ears.

THE UNEXPECTED EARTHQUAKE.

It was broad daylight, I stayed over at my elder cousins because my family was overseas. Me, Ana – my cousin & Jullie – my elder cousin were in the yard playing piggy in the middle. It was fun and all until the ground beneath our feet started to rumble. It was only us at the house we were alone. My cousin’s family was also overseas. As the ground started to shake and shift we stood there as the tree behind Ana tumbled. I tackled Ana onto the ground dodging the tree as it collapsed and stumbled into the ground Jullie realized this was an unexpected earthquake!.

Every morning Jullie would check the news but in the morning she didn’t get any warning of an earthquake, The wind started getting stronger and heavy branches were crashing on to the ground Jullie gripped Me and Ana’s hand and drifted us into the house we slid under the dinner table strangling onto the table legs the light bulb unscrewed and shattered onto the floor right near where Ana was, Ana yelled in terror as tears rolled down her face the whole house was being taken advantage of.

I couldn’t help but listen to every single dish from the kitchen shatter onto the floor. I sobbed as I watched the tears drip from my eyes. Jullie squinted her eyes shut as if it was glued to the eyelids. She muttered a prayer to make this disaster end very soon. I mumbled  “make it stop” several times knowing it wouldn’t work. I screamed at the top of my lungs crying as the tv stumbled over.  THE END TBC?

THE BREAK IN!

¨SMASH!¨ I woke up to the sound of glass shattering. I was home alone. I sat up and checked the time, it was exactly 2:59am. I ignored the sound thinking it was a plate that fell off the shelf and dozed back to sleep. ¨THUMP¨ I woke up again to the sound of a stomp. I stood up and walked towards my door. I twisted the handle and opened my bedroom door. I stood there as I glared into the dark sketchy hallway as it glared back at me. I crept through the hallway as if someone was going to jumpscare me but it turns out no one was there 1 minute passed ¨BASH!, SMASH!, BAM, CLASH!¨ I think I just heard all my dishes break… wait maybe  the intruder was in the kitchen right now!

I sped to the kitchen and gasped in terror as all my dishes were shattered and all over the floor. I grabbed a sharp pointy part of glass and held it on the side of my ear and I was pretty sure the intruder had already escaped. After I walked through the glass pieces. As I approached the living room I stopped at the door staring in tears as I saw a tall fully covered man in black with a half way filled bag and a smashed window in front of him.

I dashed quietly through the house all the way to the bathroom in tears. I shut the door behind me and locked it, slowly sinking to the ground I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and dialed 911. I struggled telling the Officers what was going on since this was the first time this kind of situation happened to me. I panicked as they tried to get me to calm down. After 10 minutes I finally explained to them what happened and they sent Police Officers to my address. called the Police Station. I called my parents and told them they told me to stay in the bathroom until I heard the sirens.

I sat there crying until I saw red and blue lights and sirens shouting. I stood up and looked out the window and saw 4 officers standing outside. I unlocked the door and dashed straight out the door and saw my parents arrive. It was over. The intruder probably had enough time to escape…

It was noon. I was at full max speed as the mammoths feet trembled, the ground, buildings were collapsing as the giant passed through, 2 buildings just ahead of me were tumbling down. I stomped on the gas panel dashing through the 2 towers ¨BASH!¨ I turned my head and saw that the mammoth broke through the glass towers my eyes burst open with horror. I jumped off my jeep leaving it to tremble down the hill. I rolled onto the road glaring as the creature followed the vehicle. If that monster caught me I would have been dead meat.

The water in the ocean evaporates up into the sky.

This happens when the sun is flaming hot.

It absorbs in the clouds.

Then when it rains it goes down the mountain and collects in the ocean.

Touch:I can feel the moon bouncing me up!

Smell:I can smell the fuel from the gas! It tickles my nose!

Sound:I can hear peaceful sounds like silence.

Taste:I can taste the oxygen from my suit!

Sight:I can see loads of stars from the black sky and a whole lot of other planets around the moon!

Have you ever done Science before? Well Kea has exprienced it! let me tell you, On monday kea was meeting Nanogirl! They do science,expriences and magic tricks! there were men setting up camera’s in the hall to record the amazing performance from Nanogirl! Right after morning tea the whistle went and the whole kea walked to the courts and sat in our houses, One by one each house went with a teacher they walked to the hall with a little chatter if you ask me.Once we all got to the hall some of the students were put on the special chair because they might get to go up on the stage.

There were 3 ladies that stood up on stage behind them they had some equipment they were gonna use for there science exprience.They introduced them selves Nanogirl,Rocket girl and Atomic Arissa she told us what would our super hero names be? and why so I wanted electric power! My super hero name would be Elctro! then she asked us if we know how to make fire power! and Keasi answered “Using Bubbles?” and Atomic Arrisa replied “Great Idea! what if we use bubbles?”

First, Atomic Arissa had 2 bowls 1 with cold water and another with soapy water, She got her gas and placed it in and activated it! the soapy water transformed bubbly water! Then she put her hand in the cold water for 1 minute and then scooped some bubbles into her hand.She got her match and lit her hand on FIRE! everyone yelled with laughter! While the fire went out so we moved on to the next experiment.

Next, Atomic Arissa hopped off from the stage and walked towards the kids on the special chair she chose Tema,Yon And Sarah.They went up on stage and were given one balloon each they had to blow it up and tie it,Until Rocket girl came and gave them a stick to test out will it Pop? or not? So they all popped there balloons and POP! Their balloons didn’t survive but then Rocket girl showed us a trick.She slowly popped in the sharp stick through the darker part of the balloon all the way to the top without popping the balloon.I was shocked!

Then, Rocket girl showed us a circled shaped hoverboard that they made out of garbage! I was impressed! they said they used…A circled shaped thin table with out the legs,some wiggly paper of course and card board.It looked very intresting plus some super hero’s use hoverboards am I right? And then Rocket girl asked “Hey Wesley! point to the teacher that you think would be a great surfer!” and of course everyone and I mean EVERYONE pointed at the lovely Whaea Sam and thats how Whaea sam became a super hero! the leaf blower was helping the hoverboard to float the whole time! and I don’t think Whaea Sam new she was getting pushed instead of really flying! well on to the next trick!

Next, Tevita and Kael was picked to be the next volenteer’s to go up on stage to preforme the next trick,Kael was given a plastic plain white cup to put on his head while Tevita got give an air zooka that had so much air in it that it might blow somebody to the floor! Tevita aimed his Air Zooka and shot the air bullet to kael’s white cup on his head and the cup flew off the stage! I was Impressed! until Rocket girl and Atomic Arissa went to the side of the stage and lifted a huge cannon that was called Air Cannon they had a smoke machine and placed it in  the Air Cannon and then it started getting smokey in the Air Cannon! and then Tevita aimed the Air Cannon at the wall and shot it came out Spinning and in a circled shaped! and kpow into the wall!

Finally, Last but not least the last trick called hairdryer expirament Atomic Arissa pulled out a hairdryer and a Ping Pong green ball she turned the hair dryer to maximum and put the ping pong ball on top and the ping pong ball floated! It was so cool! but we made even better! Rocket girl pulled out the blow dryer and a white beach ball and blew the blow dryer and the beach ball went so high that I think it almost touched the school hall roof! but thats the end of Nanogirl Assembly thank you for reading my writing!
